Mother´s homestead - Sumvald No.40
Along the chronicle, stored in Sumvald, was homestead No 40 bought in 1687 by Jirik
Riedl. It become the mothers homestead of Riedl family then and was held by the
family of Riedl up to 1893, when it was sold by Jan Riedl (emigrated to America).
Homestead was held by the family for 206 years...
Along the memories of Mrs. Wiederman the area of the land adherent to farm was about
13ha. These parcels has been collectivized along with foundation of Sumvalds farm´s
cooperation

According to contract of purchase, which I got 22.April 2004 was homestead No. 40 sold 31.juli 1893 behind 13.150, - gold. Selling Joan Riedl, buying Francis and Marianna Wiedermann. Joan Riedl obiit 1.10.1893 then three months after sale homestead. And that is already other story homestead No. 40, which serves family Wiedermann to the today's.
